It is already four weeks since my mother, Joan, died and I am remiss in not having written to thank you all – from Care Manager Jean to Cleaner Janice and all the wonderful girls [and of course wonderful Andrew!] in between, for the way you cared for her over the six years she was with you.

I write to express my appreciation of the quality of care provided by Winslow Care Home in Gloucestershire. My mother, who had Alzheimer’s dementia, moved to the area in April 2006 in order to be closer to my brother. She moved into Winslow House and was a resident there until her death on 26th January 2010.
